Prepare Your Bait Solution
Measure 3 tablespoons of your chosen liquid base. Fermented liquids work best—organic apple cider vinegar, wine, and beer are all excellent choices.
3 tablespoons will fill to the MAX line inside the cup.

Add FruitFly Feast™ Attractant
Add 1 level teaspoon of the included FruitFly Feast™ fruit fly attractant and stir until dissolved.
This proprietary formula enhances the scent profile that attracts fruit flies.

Add Dish Soap
Add 2 drops of liquid dish soap to break the surface tension. This ensures flies that land on the liquid sink rather than escape.

Secure the Lid & Place
Twist the lid to a snug fit (about a 1/4 turn). Place your FruitFly Inn™ where fruit flies congregate—near fruit bowls, trash cans, or anywhere you've spotted them.

Optimal Placement Tips
✓ Place near fruit bowls, bananas, and ripening produce
✓ Position close to trash cans and compost bins
✓ High-draft areas tend to disrupt the scent plume, making it difficult for fruit flies to find the source.
✓ Fruit flies prefer low air movement areas—that's where your trap should be
✓ The closer to their food source, the faster they'll find your trap
Resetting Your Trap (Every 3 Days)

Every 3 days, discard the old bait and captured flies by rinsing down the drain

Rinse the cup basin thoroughly

Refill with fresh bait solution to the MAX fill line, including fresh FruitFly Feast™ and dish soap

Tighten lid and set the trap back out
